Escape from New York Comedy was established in 2015 by two comedians with a simple mission: Get out of NYC and perform in places where people in their 40s don’t have roommates, where land is measured in acres instead of square feet, where life moves slower and the drinks are cheaper.
Since then Ryan Brown and Ron Nobles, along with a rotating crew of fellow New York comedians, have performed at bars, theaters, restaurants, corporate events, comedy and country clubs across the east coast and midwest. With more than 30 years of combined comedy experience, EFNY Comedy can deliver a fun, professional show to crowds anywhere beyond the five boroughs.

Ryan Brown
Ryan Brown is a comedian and writer raised in North Carolina, where he currently lives after 8 years of residing in Manhattan. In New York, he performed regularly at Comic Strip Live, Broadway Comedy Club, Carolines on Broadway and more. Ryan has been featured in numerous festivals including the New York Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Asheville Off and Oak City. His playful demeanor disarms audiences so he can win them over with well-crafted jokes fueled by his child-like curiosity.
Ron Nobles
Ron is a stand-up comedian based in New York City, originally from a small town south of Buffalo called Gerry, NY. He’s a clean-cut everyman with a knack for storytelling that's made him a regular in the New York City comedy scene. He can be seen at the world famous Comic Strip Live, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Stand Up New York, The Village Lantern, and Caroline’s on Broadway as well as colleges and clubs all over the country.
